Cinnamon Graphics celebrated two years in early December. I am focused on making work and gave the work to speak for me. New clients have ordered again and the first challenges have been solved well. The best reward is the customer’s good feedback and successful work. I’ve got to do a variety of all kinds: logos, layout work, advertisements, websites, packaging design, illustration and design for mobile devices, etc.

How, then, combined with working at home and spending time at home? The advantages are, of course, an extremely short distance to my working place, and so family can manage with one car. For many, this lifestyle can be an abomination, but for myself it suits fine for now. Day routine includes a morning with children’s breakfast and school outputs, cleaning up, laundry and making beds, a short lunch incl. rye bread and a cup of coffee and cooking dinner for the whole family. Often it’s been so busy that household chores are left to evening just like in a normal day job. Connections to the outside world are handled well by telephone and e-mail or internet. I haven’t felt myself lonely and I feel great nearby the warm fire of our wood-burning oven.

Let’s see what the future brings along. Thing at a time. I have all kinds of ideas, but let’s see how they’ll get implemented. So I thank you my dear customers for the past year!
